We put a few questions to Natalie to best sum up her style ethos in 5 minutes!
Burnt Soul: How would you describe your personal style?
Natalie: Quite eclectic sometimes I like joggers and a baggy jumper and then other times its full on sequins. Usually it’s colourful - I don’t wear much black.
Burnt Soul: If there’s one main message you want to get out there on your platform, what would it be?
Natalie: That we can be and do whatever we want. Don’t let your insecurities hold you back. Walk into the fire of fear.
Burnt Soul: Your ultimate night out… you can take 3 people with you, living or dead… who do you go for?
Natalie: My best mate, my other best mate and another best mate. Also my mum and sisters are always good value. I have no desire to go out with people I don’t know or just because they’re famous. I’d rather be surrounded by people I’m comfortable with, that I love. I’m actually more of an introvert at heart.
Burnt Soul: What’s your best ‘get the party started’ song?
Natalie: Something upbeat like Hey Hey by Dennis Ferrer or Heater by Samim. It’s possible to stay still whilst listening to either of them.
Burnt Soul: What’s your favourite “pinch me” moment from your blogging career so far?
Natalie: Probably being the the cover of a magazine or standing up and doing a talk in front of people at a festival - public speaking has always been a big hurdle for me to overcome.
Burnt Soul: We chose you to be our campaign girl for party season because a) you are a total ball of fun and positive energy, and b) you are all about dressing fine for your damn self! That’s what we’re all about at Burnt Soul. Do you have a favourite saying that encapsulates this, or a phrase that sticks with you about this?
Natalie: Don’t look outside yourself for love or pleasure - it’s all there within you.
Burnt Soul: Thanks Natalie! What a mantra to end on. Is there anything you would like to add?
Natalie: Look out for a super exciting event I have coming up in January that includes my love of dance.....
We look forward to that!! .... For updates follow @stylemesunday xxx
