CUSTOMISE YOUR FLIP SWIMSUIT

Size Guide

You've all been asking for a swimsuit and what better way to launch these beauties by getting creative and design your own Flip Swimsuit?! With our new Custom Flip page, you'll now be able to pick your own prints and foils to get your very own unique swimsuit ✨

Our new swim, features our square neck line, scoop back and new mid leg cut, for our Burnt Soul aficionados this is a cut directly between the low and high cut of last years swims. Select for each half of the swimsuit, go double wild in leopard prints or get sparkly in foils the variations are endless!

We do try and keep a good stock of these fabrics available throughout the year but there may be the odd occasion where we're unable to fulfil a request. We will be in contact at the earliest possible occasion if this is the case.

**Please note, the sparkles are 100% poolside worthy... but you're looking to swim in these, we do suggest a fabric that doesn't have foil on as it can wear / fade in chlorinated water and saltwater 💦

We love our prints so much we've decided to make some styles for our standard stock, these will feature our Wildcat & Neon Panther, Black & White Eco Lycra and Lilac Crackle & Iridescent Foil swimsuits. These will be ready to purchase in a couple of weeks but if you can't wait you can order a custom one here!

All of our customs are cut and made in our Bristol studio which allows you the freedom to mix and match from the stock we have. See our fabric library for more detailed images.

WASHING

Printed/plain Lycra with no foil panels - 30 Degree machine wash and line dry

Foiled pieces - Hand wash in cool or tepid water using mild detergent. Remove excess water with a spin cycle in your washing machine and then line dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not dry clean or tumble dry

Tackle stains straight away by quickly soaking the stain in cold or tepid water and rub small amounts of mild detergent to the affected area, repeat as necessary. Do not use hot water as this can set the stain.

To remove strong smells fill the sink with cold water, add a cup of baking soda and soak for no more than 1 hour. Then wash as above.

STORING

We recommend hanging your Burnt Soul’s up when they’re not out causing mischief, especially if they’re more delicate foiled pieces.

Do not fold and put in a draw when damp - this will cause damage to any foils and could transfer fabric dye to other garments.

WEARING

We love using glittery, shiny and holographic fabrics… as much as I’m sure you love wearing them! They do tend to need a little more attention than your average pair of leggings though.

Whilst we always buy the highest quality of sparkles and foils we can find, if they are being worn and washed as an every day item of clothing then the foils may dull.

If you’re looking for longevity or to use for fitness then it’s best to go for catsuits without liquid foil paneling. If you'd like more help choosing the right one for you then send us a message here.

keep oily liquids away from the reflective panels. The reflective panels are made by coating the Lycra in minuscule glass beads. this makes it hard to get out oily substances once on the fabric. The good news is that it will have no effect on the reflective glow it gives out so you can continue shine bright where ever you go!

Generally speaking, we make our catsuits for the taller frame as our designer, Robyn, is 5'9" herself. See our sizing chart and how to measure yourself here.

Fortunately, the way the catsuits are cut does mean that the catsuits can be worn on a shorter body too - see the "Long, Short or Standard Torso" to find out what you are.

If you’re hesitant to invest in a custom piece just yet then there are 3 factors to consider when buying a stock catsuit…

  • FABRIC
  • BACK STYLE
  • SIZE

FABRIC - We use different fabrics with varying amounts of stretch. We have given all our fabrics a stretchometer score to tell you which ones offer more stretch. 1 being the firmest and 5 being the stretchiest. If you're longer in the body but don't want a custom, they go for something with a high Stretchometer score.

BACK STYLE - If you’re particularly long in the body then the backless catsuit is your friend. As the back panel is missing, it offers a lot more stretch up and down.

SIZE - Between each size, the patterns also increase in length too. Not by a huge amount but if you are worried about the body and don’t want to go custom, then this is a factor that can offer you a bit more room.
